How does age shape the ways we teach, learn, and show up in educational spaces? This panel explores age and its intersections in feminist pedagogy community and higher education settings.
This NWSA webinar series aims to build feminist pedagogy networks across Gender Studies units, offering resources, shared strategies for educational resistance and liberation, and supportive spaces for those teaching feminisms in higher education classrooms and community settings. Through dialogues with scholar‑practitioner‑activists and hands‑on workshops, the series centers graduate instructors, contingent and junior faculty, and other educators whose labor sustains WGSS amidst political and administrative pressures. The goal of this workshop series is to create a space for honest discussion of ongoing teaching challenges within the Feminist Studies classroom while cultivating pedagogical joy, collective care, and strategies for surviving and thriving together.
