Submit Your Proposals

Honoring the Multivocality of the Field

We are excited to partner with Oxford Abstracts, a streamlined platform to submit your conference proposals. In order to submit your work, you will need to make an account in Oxford Abstracts and we encourage you to use our suggested templates to prepare your submissions. Please review the below resources; if you require further clarification please email the National Office at

The Process

The 2024 Proposal Submission Portal is Closed

Our submission platform offers two options for submitting your work; we have one portal to submit your individual paper(s) and poster(s). This method is specific to folks submitting solo-authored work or co-authored work that one person will be presenting. Our Proposal Review Committee will review individual paper(s) and poster(s) submissions and will group accepted proposals into curated panels.

We also invite sessions that are collaborative and engage multiple presenters. Our submission portal uses the term "Panel Submission" for the following sessions:

  • Authors Meets Critics Session
  • Constituency Group Sponsored Session
  • General Conference Session
  • Pre-Conference: Program & Administration Development
  • Pre-Conference: Women's Centers
  • Roundtable Session
  • Workshop Session

We know that navigating a new platform can be confusing and daunting. In an effort to provide as much support as we are able, the National Office worked to curate resources in navigating the process.

For example, we encourage you to begin mapping out your submission content by utilizing the templates below. Please note these templates are not submission forms but are here to assist you in organizing your content before submitting.
