Presenter and Moderator Requirements
IF YOU CAN NOT ACCESS YOUR MEMBERSHIP, Email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org Do not create a new membership in the system.  This creates a duplicate account that is not linked to your proposal in the system.‚Äč



All presenters, including pre-conference presenters and all moderators, must have current (2018) individual membership AND be registered for the conference no later than July 25, 2018. Membership and conference registration are two separate processes and require separate fees. Individual members receive reduced conference registration rates. It is important that you log in to renew your membership using the same credentials used when submitting a proposal. Please do not create a new account or your membership and registration will not be linked to your proposal.

Each presenting member of a panel, workshop or presentation, including the moderator, must meet these requirements. If you have organized a panel with community partners and activists, each presenter is required to be a current NWSA member and pre-registered for the conference by the deadline. In prior years, community partners have fundraised independently to attend, committed their own organizational funds to attend, or the university partner has funded their participation in the conference.  


 




IF YOU SUBMITTED YOUR PROPOSAL USING A GUEST LOGIN
You must first renew to a paying member type, then register for the conference.

1. Login at www.nwsa.org/login using the credentials used to submit your proposal

2. Renew to a different individual member type.  Member types are based on income according to a sliding scale.
Once logged in, clicked "My Account," and look on the left hand side of the page please click “Membership Renewal” and follow the prompts.

3.  Register for the conference
a. Visit www.nwsa.org and click LOGOUT under the Member Login Box.
b. This allows the system to update and recognize that your new member type.
c. Then, login using your username and password. 
d. Click Conference Registration on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts. 
e. When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.
IF YOUR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP IS EXPIRED:
1. Login at www.nwsa.org/login using the credentials used to submit your proposal

2. Renew your individual membership.
Once logged in, clicked "My Account," and look on the left hand side of the page please click “Membership Renewal” and follow the prompts.
 
3. Register for the conference
a. Return to www.nwsa.org/login and click LOGOUT under the Member Login Box.
b. This allows the system to update and recognize your renewed member type.
c. Then, login using your username and password. 
d. Click Conference Registration on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts.
e. When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.
IF YOUR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP IS CURRENT (Your Expiration Date is 12/31/2018)
1. Login at www.nwsa.org/login using the credentials used to submit your proposal

2. Register for the conference
a. Once logged in, clicked "My Account," and look on the left hand side of the page click Conference Registration and follow the prompts.    
b. When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.
