The National Women’s Studies Association is excited to welcome storyteller, public theologian, and feminist Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodriguez in conversation with President Heidi R. Lewis. This conversation focuses on Tías and Primas: On Knowing and Loving the Women Who Raise Us (2024) and what this celebration of Latine women invites into our feminist imaginations and realities. Registration is free for NWSA members and open to the public - our first 25 registrants will receive a free copy of Tías & Primas*!
The Association prioritizes members and attendees who actively engage with our programming; therefore our first 25 registrants who attend will receive a physical copy of Mojica Rodriguez's follow-up to her acclaimed debut For Brown Girls with Sharp Edges and Tender Hearts, Tías and Primas: On Knowing and Loving the Women Who Raise Us!
Note: All are welcome to register for NWSA events and co-sponsored opportunities. NWSA Members should login to their accounts for the smoothest event registration process. Folks without an active NWSA membership will be prompted to register with the Association in order to complete a non-member registration; in this case, you will not be charged for a membership but you will not be able to access member discounts and/or rates!
