When:  May 6, 2024 from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM (ET)

The National Women's Studies Association proudly co-sponsors "People's University for Gaza, Palestine: Genocide Resistance and Repression", an open classroom and space for community led by the Arab and Muslim Ethnicities Diasporas Studies (AMED) and Teaching Palestine: Pedagogical Praxis and the Indivisibility of Justice Open Classroom Series.

In response to the destruction of all Universities and academic and cultural institutions in Gaza, Palestinian and Arab Universities joined an international student movement demanding the total disengagement of their institutions from Israeli apartheid and colonialism, and occupation.

The open classroom will feature first-hand witness testimonies, critical analysis and narratives of resistance to genocide by medics. educators, students, and children, and will be broadcast to encampments across the US, including UC-SC, Syracuse University, Colorado College, and more!
