NWSA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD $1,000
NWSA will award $1,000 to a student who, in the fall of the year of the award, will be engaged in the research or writing stages of a Master's Thesis or Ph.D. Dissertation in the interdisciplinary field of women's studies. The research project must be on women and must enhance the NWSA mission.

Applicants must be a member of NWSA at the time of application.
Applications must include:

- MA or Ph.D. candidate
- Major Study Area
- Dissertation/Thesis title
- Expected Date of Completion
- a 2 -3 pp. abstract of your work in progress
- Name of two persons who will each send a Letter of Recommendation
The Scholarship Review Committee would like you to addressing the following:
- Brief statement of financial need
- Feminist or community activities
- Relevance of your research to NWSA goals
