Political Women and Political Power
How do the realities of political women and political power play out across
boundaries of nation, class, race, culture, and sexuality? This plenary
taps the experience and expertise of women in politics in diverse roles
-- theorists, officeholders, and aspirants, party workers, and grassroots
activists-- in an effort to frame the salient issues involved in
that frequently invoked but little understood triad women,
power and politics.

What is the role of the body in feminism? How does feminism

and embodied forms of resistance.
