NWSA MEMBERSHIP TYPES

At every stage of your education, training, and career, NWSA provides information and services you can use. Our membership dues are on a sliding scale according to income for individuals, and according to budget and degree offerings for institutions. We offer a reduced rate for students, and students may be eligible for complimentary membership through their institutions. We also offer discounted rates for those seeking employment, and for retirees.

Individual Membership Types

  • Faculty or Staff
    Individual membership is on a sliding scale according to income:
    Income to $40,000, income to $60,000, income to $80,000 and income $80,000 and above.
  • Student
    Our fixed student rate is discounted. Additionally students may be eligible for complimentary membership through their insitution.
  • Unemployed
    We realise that unemployment can cause membership to lapses.
    Our fixed unemployed rate is discounted.

  • Retired
    Our fixed rate for those retired is discounted

Institutional Membership Types

  • Department or Program: PhD Granting
    For institutions with a full department and PhD granting program in women's or gender studies or simlar.

  • Department or Program: MA Granting
    For institutions with a department or program and Masters Degree in women's or gender studies or simlar.

  • Department or Program: Standard
    For institutions with a department or program and Undergraduate Degree program in women's or gender studies or simlar, and that have a non-salary budget above $10,000.00

  • Department or Program
    For institutions with a department or program and Undergraduate degree program offering a Bachelor of Arts, Minor or Certificate in women's or gender studies or simlar, and that have a non-salary budget above $5,000.00

  • Program
    For institutions with a department or program and Undergraduate degree program offering a Bachelor of Arts, Minor or Certificate in women's or gender studies or simlar, and that have a non-salary budget below $5,000.00

  • Standard Women's Center
    For Campus Women's Centers with a non-salary budget above $10,000.00

  • Women's Center
    For Campus Women's Centers with a non-salary budget below $10,000.00

  • Small Women's Center
    For Campus Women's Centers with a non-salary budget below $5,000.00

  • Non-Profit or Library
    We offer two levels of membership for non-profit groups or libraries:
    Annual budget above $50,000.00
    Annual budget below $50,000.00

    K-12 School

    We encourage K-12 Schools to join and offer a special membership rate
