2014 Election
2014 ballots will be sent to individual members who joined on or before 3/18/2014 by mail on April 3, 2014. Ballots must be returned in the enclosed envelope and received by the national office no later than May 3, 2014.

2014 Candidates
Governing Council Positions: The NWSA Governing Council serves as the Board of Directors for the organization and meets twice annually: in June and November.  NWSA provides limited travel support ($300 per meeting) for low-income, student, or for those Governing Council members without institutional travel support.

Delegate Assembly Position (3 year term)
Member-at-Large: Successful candidates select one Member-at-Large to serve on the Governing Council.  The Delegate Assembly meets once annually at the NWSA conference and considers resolutions and recommendations.

Elections Timeline

March 14 at 3p EST: All nominations due.

April 3: Ballots will be mailed to individual members at the mailing address indicated on their membership form. Ballots must be returned via mail.

May 3: Completed ballots due to the Elections Chair (final U.S. postmark). If mailing internationally, please mail earlier than the May 3 postmark date to ensure inclusion in the final counts.

May 10: Announcement of election results.

November: Positions begin at the Governing Council meeting at the end of the Conference in November.
