Membership in NWSA

As an individual or institutional member of the National Women's Studies Association, you belong to the nation's largest network of feminist scholars, educators, and activists. 

All memberships run on a calendar year basis, beginning January 1 and ending December 31.  Members who complete their forms and payments after October 1, receive membership for the following year.

Institutional Benefits

  • List your program, department, center, or nonprofit organization in the annual report.
  • Current member institutions receive three complimentary student memberships annually. In order to use this benefit, current institutional members should have three of their students complete the individual membership form and return that form with a copy of their student ID by email, fax (410-528-0357), or mail to: National Women's Studies Association, 11 E Mount Royal Ave #100, Baltimore, MD 21202. Please note, institutional student memberships do not include any caucus fees. Caucus fees must be remitted by the student. Please send any questions about this benefit to nwsaoffice@nwsa.org.
