Registration

All presenters, including pre-conference presenters and all moderators, must have current (2016) individual membership AND be registered for the conference no later than July 18, 2016. Please complete your individual membership FIRST in order to get the member registration rate.

Online, mail, fax and email registrations closed on Monday, October 31. On-site registration will be available at Palais des Congrès in Viger Hall at NWSA Registration starting on November 10 at 7a.

Attendees from Nonprofit Organizations
Individuals who are employed full time at registered 501c3 nonprofit organizations with budgets of $250,000 US dollars or less can receive complimentary general conference registration. Individuals must complete a general conference registration form and submit it with a letter from their employer confirming their role in the organization to the NWSA national office by email, fax or regular mail. This process cannot be completed online. Current (2016) NWSA individual membership is required for all accepted presenters and to apply for travel grants or other NWSA awards.

This policy does not apply to those with college/university affiliations and does not include pre-conference registration.


First Nations/Indigenous Peoples
First Nations/Indigenous Peoples can receive complimentary general conference registration. Individuals must complete a First Nations/Indigenous Peoples registration form and submit it to the NWSA national office by email, fax or regular mail. This process cannot be completed online. Current (2016) NWSA individual membership is required for all accepted presenters and to apply for travel grants or other NWSA awards.

This policy does not apply to faculty and staff with college/university affiliations and does not include pre-conference registration.


Badges
Badges must be worn for admission to all sessions, receptions, and the Exhibit Hall. Badges are obtained through the payment of registration fees and should be picked up on-site at registration.


Meals
Pre-conference registration includes a light breakfast and lunch on Thursday, November 10.General conference registration does not include any meals. 

Refunds/Transfers/Credits
The National Women's Studies Association regrets that it cannot refund or transfer or credit registration payments.
 

Please note that NWSA conference participants from the following countries and territories may attend the conference and receive complimentary registration.  To receive complimentary registration, qualified participants must complete the registration form with a copy of their ID/passport and remit to the National Office be either email (nwsaoffice@nwsa.org) or fax (410-528-0357). Pre-conference is not included. NWSA has drawn this list from the World Bank, which classifies economies based upon Gross National Income (GNI) per capita.
