Presenter and Moderator Requirements

Presenter and Moderator Requirements
All presenters, including pre-conference presenters and all moderators, must have current (2014) individual membership AND be pre-registered for the conference no later than July 15, 2014. Membership and Conference Registration are two separate processes and require separate fees. Individual members receive reduced conference registration rates.   Early bird conference rates are available through July 15, 2014.

Time Period to Meet Requirements:  April 17 – July 15
NWSA opened conference registration on Thursday, April 17 to provide 89 days to complete the presenter requirements.

IF YOU SUBMITTED YOUR PROPOSAL USING A NON-MEMBER GUEST LOGIN
You must first renew to a paying member type, then register for the conference.

1.   
     Renew to a different individual member type.  Member types are based on income according to a sliding scale.
            Enter the User Name and Password you created when you made your Non-Member Guest Login at www.nwsa.org
           Once logged in, look on the left hand side of the page please click “Membership Renewal” and follow the prompts. 
           It is important that you login  using the same credentials generated to submit your proposal.
           Please do not create a new account—the new account will not be linked to your proposal.
 
2.       Then register for the conference
           Visit www.nwsa.org and click LOGOUT under the Member Login Box.
           This allows the system to update and recognize that your new member type.
           Then, login using your username and password. 
           Click Conference Registration on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts.
 
After you have successfully registered, click LOGOUT.
 
When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.
 
IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS EXPIRED,
 
1.       Renew your membership
          Enter the User Name and Password you created when you created your membership to Login at www.nwsa.org
          Once logged in, look on the left hand side of the page please click “Membership Renewal” and follow the prompts. 
          It is important that you log in to renew your membership using the same credentials.

          Please do not create a new account—the new account will not be linked to your proposal. 
          If you are now in a new income category, email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org and we will update your member type.
 
2.       Then register for the conference
 
          Visit www.nwsa.org and click LOGOUT under the member login box.
          This allows the system to update and recognize that your membership is now current.
          Then, login using your username and password. 
          Click Conference Registration on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts.
 
After you have registered, click LOGOUT.

When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.
 
IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS CURRENT,

1.  Register for the conference
     Visit www.nwsa.org and click the box that says LOGOUT if you are already logged in.
     Then, login using your username and password.
     Click Conference Registration on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts.

After you have succesfully registered, click LOGOUT.

When your membership is current and you have registered for the conference, you have met the presenter requirements.

Complete the registration as a separate process from the general conference registration below.

IF YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD,
Click “Forgot your password” under the box to login.  Use the email address associated with your membership.  If you do not have access to the email address you used when you created your membership or non member guest log in, email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org

IF YOU CAN NOT ACCESS YOUR MEMBERSHIP,
Email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org Do not create a new membership in the system.  This creates a duplicate account that is not linked to your proposal in the system.

IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED ANOTHER REMINDER ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS BUT HAVE RENEWED AND REGISTERED,
Email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org This means that there is a problem with your account.  Please let us know so we can verify your membership and registration status and make administrative changes to your record.

IF YOU LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT BUT SEE INCORRECT INFORMATION,
There were some cases where submitters overwrote their own accounts when they created a co-presenter’s non-member guest log in.  Please email nwsaoffice@nwsa.org for instructions.  We are working with the software provider to prevent the problem in the future.

Download the form.  This form includes membership and conference registration.
