The Program Administration and Development Committee (PA&D) is a standing committee in NWSA specifically designed to represent the interests and needs of administrators of women's studies programs and departments to the Governing Council of NWSA and to assist NWSA in meeting the needs of women's administrators and their departments and programs.

NWSA Data Collection Project

NWSA is partnering with the National Organization for Research (NORC) at the University of Chicago to collect data on the field of women’s studies nationally.

Women of Color Leadership

The WoCLP is designed to increase the number of women of color students and faculty within the field of women’s studies and, consequently, to have an impact on the levels of participation and power by women of color in the PA&D, NWSA, and in the field of women’s studies as a whole.

Governance

Below are the commission details of the partnership agreement between NWSA and Amazon Books and NWSA and Powells Books.

AMAZON AGREEMENT

NWSA will earn referral fees whenever a visitor follows a link from the NWSA Web site to Amazon.com and makes a purchase. Under the Performance Plan, NWSA will earn from 4% to 8.5%, depending on the shipped items volume for both Amazon and third-party items. NWSA can earn a maximum of $25 in referral fees on personal computers--for all other product groups, referral fees are unlimited. Please note that Amazon does not pay referral fees on Auctions and zShops items, or items from any external site to which they link, e.g., Shutterfly.com.


POWELLS AGREEMENT

NWSA earns a partnership commission is 7.5% on all eligible sales, all the time. Every item on Powells.com is eligible for partner commission, with the exception of gift cards and virtual credit. The commission rate does not change no matter what the customer purchases or where they travel on to the Powells site.
